A blend of theory and practice, this course emphasizes the exploration of useful practices for planning and delivering online learning in a learning management system (LMS). Course instruction provides an introduction to the National Standards for Quality Online Teaching, as well as an overview of supervision and evaluation of teachers in the online environment.

This course is not intended to be a comprehensive training course on all facets of online and blended teaching, but it will give you a solid toolkit of strategies and practices to employ when working in a virtual environment.

This course has specific course dates, with weekly assignment due dates: February 10–March 3, 2021. Student access to the course will open on February 10, 2021.
