This facilitated, three-week course is recommended for teachers who are interested in pursuing teaching online as part of the Virtual Virginia K–12 faculty. 

Course content explores online teaching methods, reviews National Standards for Quality Online Teachers, and provides practical experience with LMS tools. Successful course completion is required of all new VVA hires. 

Coursework may be completed asynchronously ahead of weekly course due dates. While completion of the course is not a guarantee of employment, each participant who successfully completes the course will receive a certificate of completion. This course has specific course dates, with weekly assignment due dates: April 12–May 3, 2021. Student access to the course will open on April 12.
